Until now I have never been able to speak to anyone through the numerous telephone numbers made available through the embassy's website. I don't think that a good communication service is offered, I am on the website (serviziconsolari.esteri.it) and I am unable to upload documents to request a change of address. The site tells me to also contact the consular office/embassy and nobody answers. Also the Dutch government suggested me to contact the embassy through the phone number and nobody replied. I add a note: sometimes not everything can be solved or described by email, and it is important for a citizen to have a direct line for issues like these through a telephone number that I hope can be available as, nowadays, due. And if it is not due, don't add this chance at all, to better understand the right way to contact you.

Needed to change my AIRE, done online super easy. Needed a new passport, done in 30 minutes. They also spoke English which was a relief because my Italian is terrible...
On my recent visit to the Italian Embassy to renew a passport , I was very impressed with how efficient, professional and excellent the entire appointment was. We were sent an email prior to the appointment with exact location and time. Right at the door we were friendly greeted and, when we were called by Ms Elisa Casellato, she was impeccable! She was ready with our folder and information, and was consistently kind, polite, focused and extremely efficient with her work! I was so surprised since 5 years ago, the treatment we received was unfortunately not professional! I want to express my sincere admiration and gratitude for the delightful experience and for getting a new passport in less than 20 minutes. Thank you Ms Elisa Casellato! You are undoubtedly an asset to the Italian Embassy and Italian community in The Netherlands.
I'm really surprised to read negative reviews. I've never been treated so good by public offices. Extremely fast and precise in the responses and always ready to help with any doubt. Thank you so much for solving me a problem
