This building has its roots in the 1930's. The Dutch had a need in a school to develop the aviation industry. The name Fokker is derived from the person Antony Fokker. A Dutch pilot who created famous fighter planes for the first World War. He is most well known of the the synchronization device which enabled World War I aircraft to fire through the spinning propeller. The Fokker airplane company was a backbone industry in the Netherlands but had to file bankruptcy in 1996

We had a event from work at the fokker terminal. It offers good space, possibility for breakout sessions. Parking is okay.
