We just wanted to share our bad experience for us in the hostel. Because I would have loved to know that before choosing this place to sleep. We booked a private room (N9) and wanted to stay 2 nights on Friday and Saturday. Friday night there was a karaoke until 2am. There is a pipe in the room, used for ventilation, that is linked to the bar of the hostel downstair and this is like a real speaker so you'll hear everything happening in the bar. So if you are here to party, this is a good idea, but if not, it's impossible to sleep until the party is finished, even with the free earplug they put on the beds when you arrive. Now you know and can make your choice properly :)

Excellent place to communicate with international people. For students, It's amazing place to stay for a while.. Everything is nearer to the hostel. Damn good attitude & behaviour they have!!!! 6 for me \u003c3
Good cozy place to spend a night or two. There's a bar downstairs which is open till 1 am and has a good chilled vibe.
During the Corona crisis the hostel is closed, nevertheless they refuse to refund bookings made through booking.com as those are nonrefundable bookings. Offering a voucher is nice, but as I am not sure during this crisis or afterwards if I will visit Den Haag within 12 months it's not a solution. Also the customer is not legally obligated to accept a voucher. If the hostel is unable to deliver the service booked because they are closed, they should refund the paid fees uppon request to do so. By refusing to do so, they show no respect and it's clear that the word service is unknown to them. So be aware before you make a booking at this hostel... as long all goes as planned and you pay them all is fine, but as soon service is needed, they are a no-show themselves. Very very disappointing but I do promise my personal service in spreading the word about the great service I experienced this time.
Great hostel! Clean rooms, friendly staff, very good location. A 10 minute walk from the central train station. The bar is loud at night, but just bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper :)
We stayed in the new Pink Flamingo Hostel, beautiful place, very good location in the city center. The staff is very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.
Fantastic atmosphere, very alternative, fun people, great live music, tasty home-made beer, clean rooms, great location.
Hostel The Hague has safe tidy rooms and the decor is creative & well kept. It’s a student friendly environment & the staff are friendly. Guests are given a free beer for staying here and the padlocks for the lockers are free. However the noise was absolutely atrocious, I myself am a heavy sleeper but even the noise at this place kept me awake till early hours of the morning, there are clear rules that state the times in which noise should be kept to a minimum however the staffs effort to ensure that these rules are followed was very poor. I’m not sure as to whether I would stay here again due to that issue.
