I had a great experience doing research at the Nationaal Archief. The location is very convenient just outside the main train station in the Hague, the building and equipment is very modern. Access is free, Wifi works well, there are electricity plugs to charge your laptop on most tables. Pictures are allowed at no cost, except on particular precious or sensitive documents. The personnel is very friendly and speaks English. What more can you want? I wish the Belgian National Archives would follow this example. Dank u!

Such a huge archive about the past of Netherlands. A nice place with lots to learn. We were privileged to visit the underground archive spanning hundreds of meters, filled with books and archival content. Impressive!
