Groningen airport is a really convenient regional airport in the North of the Netherlands. Cheap parking available which can be booked online. Not too many choices of destinations regrettably, but a strong point surely is the three times daily Flybe flight to London Southend airport, from which it is just a fairly quick trainride into the City.

Easy to reach, quick security check, short distances from car park to planes. Unfortunately, Flybe recently started allowing only very tiny cabin bags, resulting in a hefty extra cost to check in bags that they used to accept just fine.
