Very helpful and supportive to get living proprties
I rented a studio for 5 months with HousingXL. The studio was newly furnished and everything was new and beautiful. After leaving with exactly 4 weeks as agreed, I got my deposit back in full. In the meanwhile agents were always nice and helpful. Just a general rule, if u are renting in Netherlands, you have to read about the laws around that and read your contract carefully. People are nice but u have to knw ur rights.
Do not recommend! I paid about 1500 EUR for a house. Quite pricey but ok. During the contract, they tried to raise the renting price more than once a year. They have no consideration that I was their client for more than 2 years. In the end, after I cleaned the whole house, they did not want to hand the deposit back claiming the house needs repairs, repainting and professional cleaning services. Greedy company, just trying to take your money in any possible way. STAY OUT!
