I actually had my first mortgage done through them and it was quite a good experience. For the second mortgage, I chose another advisor/company with whom I wasn't really happy. Therefore,I chose to do business with De Hypotheekshop again. First appointment with Jeroen Bastiaans, he was very helpful and told me to contact the mortgage lender to change the name of my advisor to theirs. As I was instructed to do so, I did the same. Few days later, I get contacted by Tahir claiming to be an expert on all expat financial matters and trying to sell me other services which I was not interested in. His way of handling was very bad and unprofessional, and he straight up said either I have to buy all services from them or go look for another advisor. If you are doing business in such a way, then in the first place it would have been better to not ask me to contact my mortgage lender to change the advisor name and save me the hassle. Very disappointed and have already opted for another advisor.
