Great experience for the whole family. Don't forget to account for the ferry trip from and to the parking lot when planning your schedule - it takes about 15min there and 25min back (the ferry stops at the train station on the way back). Most of the \interactive\ and kids-focused things are in the further part once you've come off tbe ferry, so save some energy.

Going to the Zuiderzeemusuem is a guaranteed perfect day. Been here many times and never get tiered of it. Get whisked away (by free by ferry ) to the Dutch villages that once once lived off the sea. There are peaks into all the different types of life and many fun displays showcasing important trades. Make clog sailboats, see the how fisherman lived, make fishing nets or play old fashion games. Do not go without getting some of the smoked fish, it’s fantastic. This museum should be on everyone’s must see list.

Lovely experience..park your car and get on the boat to the Zuiderzeemuseum. There you can spend the whole day wondering around. It's like you are back in the 1800's

One of the coolest open air museums i have ever visit. Takes you accross time and distance to see how Netherlands lived between 1700-2000. Great detail to house the families lived witj representations of a day in their lives.

Super fun place to come, at any age. My girlfriend and I loved exploring the tiny houses and seeing what Dutch living was like in the past. The area it's in is also very pretty, situated right by the water. Making it a beautiful day trip. Definitely worth taking a trip to
