Sailing school De Bird is located on the Idzegaasterpoel near Heeg, Friesland, the nautical province of the Netherlands. Due to the absence of other vessels this “private” sheltered lake is ideal for all sorts of boating activities. It is highly suitable for beginners with little or no sailing experience who can practice without worry, and experienced sailors who can train on the broad expanse of the lake.
