Great place (among other attractions) to make a photo in the traditional Volendam attire. Very courteous staff, takes the time to walk you through the whole dressing up, photo and dress down. Liberal policy and ample time for photos with your own mobile. Overall, highly recommended

It is a narrow and old/beautiful street by a fishermen port. Dozens of souvenir stores and restaurants. A few boats. Ah... and a store (“Cheese Factory”) where you can buy different types of nice cheeses. I will go back to Amsterdam (45 mins on a cheap 10 return bus).
