Tussen putten en nijkerk naast de spoorlijn is het tanstation \pieper\ gelegen, een familie bedrijf. deze familie heeft zich aangepast aan de covid epidemie: het tankstation verkoopt nu ook landproducten zoals eieren en bloemen. Het is mogelijk om hier de auto te laten wassen . De winkel maakt een wat trieste indruk, het heeft betere tijden gekend.
