Good place for a quick bite. Had a goat cheese salad which was really good. Gets only 4 stars because of the seating. Not all tables had an umbrella for sun protection. On a hot day, is not doable to sit outside in the sun for a lunch.

You cant go to Netherlands and NOT visit Geythoorn (Giethoorn).... It's like a little town out of a Fairytale.... A MUST visit!! You can book your trip from those trip agencies located on Damrak (Damrak 26).... it's a little over 1 hour coaster rode from amsterdam..... Worth it!

Rude owner. My advice: rent you boat elsewhere. My phone got damaged despite of a 'waterproof' basket, which their worker advised us to use. The owner responded very rude to my constructive e-mail about this twice. When I phoned him respectfully, he called me 'very stupid' (because I used the basket), said he wasn't interested in keeping customers satisfied and showed no empathy or willingness to find a solution at all. Exceptionally rude... Even if offering money wasn't possible, any decent response of him would have been in place. What happened: We rented a canoe. Because of my pregnancy we asked in advance if there was a pillow available. No response. A nice worker helped us, however, explained the route and showed a 'waterproof' basket. We replaced our phones from our waterproof bag to the basket to take pictures during canoing. When we tried to change seats because my of my pregnancy, the canoe turned around and we and our stuff fell in the water. We moved it in the right position with some nice guys and checked our phones, mine was not working anymore due to a layer of water in the 'waterproof' basket. I tried to revive it, but it was too damaged to be repared and I bought a new one. Unfortunately I lost pictures too. I e-mailed Geythorn what happened and wrote that I considered our lost and damaged items at our own risk, but that I would like to have compensation for the phone because their advice was incorrect. The owner showed no willingness to talk about a solution or even to show empathy, I experienced very unnessecary and unpleasant rudeness.
