Place of culture. The saloon has the unique eropean spirit of the early 20th centiry with nice jazz music and beautiful view to the city library and the local cathedral. Occasionally there are musicals, classical concerts and also local artists and songwriters often perorm here. If you are not the typical tourist in the Netherlands and want to explore the local culture there is no better place for that
