Best sushi in Groningen, I've been to many sushi restaurants but Yugo is definitely the best. By a long shot. Taste is great, the place is rather small, but not cramped with tables. This makes it quite cozy and a bit more personal. Dishes are severed relatively quick after ordering and they have some hot whiskey. One of the few places I really miss going to during the pandemic.

Really lovely Japanese food. Probably the best I had in Groningen so far. Loved the sushi, loved the steak. It would be great to have some more variety of desserts, not only ice cream but I won't complain. I really had a good food experience there and will be back. Also, people working there are very nice and kind.
Would definitely say that the deluxe card is worth it. One of the better sushi restaurants in the Groningen
We had the basic menu. The sushi is very good, the rice has a nice flavour and the piece are a nice size. The warm dishes were good as well, maybe some of the sauces where a bit too sweet for our liking. I only had one salad, which was the seaweed salad..there was way more lettuce then actual seaweed which was a bit disappointing. (see picture below) I also had one handroll, so it might have been a mistake but like half of the roll didn't have any filling, so after a few bites i was just eating nori. It's a nice restaurant, the tables are not too close together, the staff is friendly and attentive, the service was quite quick even when it got busy. What i missed was the option to choose an all you can drink menu, sushi is already expensive so I don't think it's weird to want that option.
Good sushi place, 2 times they forgot one item from order but anything served was delicious and any error quickly fixed after feedback. It was very busy today but still wait times were not overly long. Make a reservation it's so popular
