Amazing Place. LOVELY People, great service, beautiful place.
It’s a unique place with a castle theme. It’s fun for groups and family trips. It’s downsides are that it’s very very far from Amsterdam city centre. The stairs and doors creak a lot (maybe it was on purpose to maintain the castle feel). You can almost hear everything from the rooms beside and above you. It’s ok for a one time experience, but don’t stay for more than a day.
Quite hard to find as the entrance road (tolweig 5) is under construction but, great views and lovely place to stay.
Garden is really nice. I like it.
Fancied something a bit different for our lady night. To late for dinner, which is 6-7 pm. Room was nothing like the picture, towels are rented, not provided, make your own bed and unmake in the morning, bar prices changed each time we went, and people running around upstairs on the wooden floors at 0245 . Novel, but not something we'd do again
Amazing place, the location is perfect, there is park around the hostel, at the same time city center is like 15 min walk, where you can find shops, bars, etc. Also you can rent a bike with around 10 per day and explore around. There are small forests and parks around and bicycle roads make it very easy to ride. Food is good, very clean, safe, staff is very friendly
