The building will see you as a cash cow and completely take advantage of the housing situation in Utrecht, especially for students who come to the country to study in the university. Once you're in, pray you don't have any issues in your apartment. Also, the current tenants pay less rent than advertised in the website, mainly because it is in the corporation's best interest for you to leave as soon as possible so they can charge the next person more for the same room. (Keep that in mind) Other than that, always non-working or partially-working elevators, sub-par gym (just to show it in the contract so you pay more for utilities). But you can't actually visit the site to see what you're buying. On the outside it looks like an amazing place, but that's just it. The corporation sees you as a cash cow and they take forever on everything. Untrained personnel, slow processes sum up my experience with Flying Deer. My suggestion to everyone is the following: If you find another apartment that you could get housing allowance for the duration of your studies, GO THERE. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Have a good day :)

Comfortable stay. But very expensive for the services offered. Probability of lift to work was 1/5 rest it is fine.
I like this place so much, and the office service is very kind. I like living in Holland2stay
Beautiful place to stay. You get what you pay in the room that is... The gym is subpar. Only basic stuff. Luckily, basic fit is across the street. My complaint is about building maintenance. My room had an air leak which took 3 days to fix. You can imagine, in the winter how awful this is. But most importantly the elevators and washing machines. The common amenities. They seem to be broken 1/4 of the year. I’m an athletic person and I can climb 5 floors on foot. But what about groceries, trash, and other heavy items? Not to mention handicapped people. 5 days with no elevators and counting till now... The response that was taped on the elevators and not emailed to us was that they would prefer everything be working fine and not having to work overtime. I guess that’s normal because if the elevators are not maintained they will break! Same goes for the washing machines. The entire building went 3 days without washing machines. If you’d like paying 800 a month and not being provided with the basic maintenance of the common amenities be my guest. I know that after my stay here, I would not recommend this establishment to a friend. In short, a tenant apparently is a cash cow according to the company’s business plan
