The website is a little clunky but the service has been fantastic from Hotelgift. I had booked a number of destinations for 2 trips but all have had to be cancelled due to Covid 19. Demetris at Hotelgift has been great sorting out refunds for these and very personable!

The worst search engine! Impossible to search for an area or surroundings of a city, you must search for a specific city. Only larger cities are included. Non-existent variety - I don't know where those over 200,000 hotels are but definitely not in some major European and US cities - I tried and failed to find. Mostly listed places are airport and conference hotels in the outskirts of larger cities, not the ideal vacation spots. I strongly recommend doing a few searches on your own before buying this for anyone, I have been trying to spend this gift for almost 2 years now with no luck.
Impossible to book a hotel, I’ve been trying for over 2 years. Prices are almost double of other travel sites. I’m so glad I can leave a REAL review. Go check out all the fake ones on trust pilot. This company is a HUGE scam. Stay away.
I received a giftcard from my mom, I don't know how many years ago, maybe 4. I had always tried to use it over the years but would end up waiting for whatever reason. I actually was able to this past week but when I put in my cards code, it said it was expired. On my giftcard it said there was no expiration date. I emailed customer service, spoke with Dimitris who was wonderful, response was timely and pleasant and they fixed my issue right away so I was able to use it. Great customer service
One star only so I could write this otherwise it would be none. bought my daughter a 150 euro voucher for her birthday. She tried to redeem it today for The Gresham Hotel Dublin. Even though the voucher covered the cost of her stay Hotelgift asked for card details and still deducted the money from her account. They would not send booking confirmation saying the service was unavailable and to try again later. When my daughter contacted the Gresham they informed her that they had ELEVEN ROOMS booked in her name and they had not the authority to cancel them. Bank now informed . Hotelgift has to do it. I regret ever buying this. I have wasted my money and feel it’s all a SCAM.
The website is not great wont load for me personally but the staff are great i emailed then to book somewhere for me and it was done within 2 hours. A guy called dimitis helped me top bloke.
Absolute scam. Received a voucher for 100 as a gift and it has taken over a year for me to find a hotel on their site to book in Ireland. They claim to be affiliated with plenty of 4-5* hotels however, they are not. I eventually found a hotel that I wished to stay in (Cabra Castle) and I used my HotelGift voucher to book the 1 night stay. The total cost of the stay was 180 so therefore I paid an additional 80 towards it. I then received an email from HotelGift to let me know that the hotel was actually not available on that date but that they would give me a refund of 180 in the form of another HotelGift voucher which I do not want, for obvious reasons. They have no phone number to contact them on. They have not got back to me via email or called me as requested. I want a full refund. In addition to this I actually gave a gift to a friend in the form of a 100 HotelGift voucher before having this experience myself and I'm absolutely mortified. I don't believe they actually make hotel reservations and that the business is a scam. I've seen the owner of the business reply on these reviews - if you read this, please have someone from your team call me urgently to have this resolved.
Such a great way to give an interesting gift. The order process was so simple and easy - lots of great Hotels to choose from too! I love that you can print out the voucher straight away.
