- Not friendly to Children - Unprofessional behavior to cancel the meeting while the discussion (we visited their showroom) and the stuff just left the table without any explanations - We had to wait 2 months to arrange the meeting and we had no result at all. We wasted our time, really. - There is no communication way apart from email and they are not responsive --- Before the lockdown in 2020 November, we had arranged an appointment on Jan 2021 but we don't have any reminder or no updates how the appointment would be while COVID situation. We asked them by email but no answer so we just had to leave for the meeting doubtingly on the day. We were late but no way to inform them we were delayed. We don't know what went wrong (being late? our child is noisy? I was caring my child not to damage the showroom things though) but the stuff cancelled the meeting middle of the discussion without any explanation. At least, they can explain why they had to stop/cancel it but the stuff just left us at the table and other stuffs were hidden somewhere immediately when I asked what was happening there. They were unprofessional and it was the most strange experience ever. We had to wait 2 months for this arrangement. We only lost our time.

Houtmerk makes beautiful lasting pieces of furniture. This is my third dining table I have custom made with Houtmerk and every time they get it exactly right. Great customer service.
Werkelijk een verademing hoe we zijn geholpen met de realisatie van onze keuken. Het persoonlijke contact en de prettige ongedwongen sfeer tijdens de gesprekken maakten dat we ons vanaf het begin op ons gemak voelden, iets wat bij andere 'gewone' keukenzaken niet altijd zo voelde. Behalve eerlijk advies kregen we ook voldoende ruimte om onze eigen ideeën te bespreken. Het is bovendien heel aardig dat de showroom letterlijk een inkijkje biedt in de werkplaats waar alles gemaakt wordt. We zijn nu enorm gelukkig met het eindresultaat, onze droomkeuken is gerealiseerd zoals wij wilden maar zoals we zelf nooit hadden kunnen bedenken of voorzien. Wij kunnen houtmerk dan ook van harte aanbevelen. Hartelijk dank! Laurens en Carice
