My favorite book store in Haarlem. The owner is always very welcoming: once we spend an hour discussing books by Dostoevsky, another time he recommends a book, I would never choose but loved in the end. Every time I am here, there is always a treasure among English books. On the top, the place is very well organized and cozy; I love it and recommend to all my friends and tourists.

A hidden gem in the centre of Haarlem! Little store with great selection of books in Dutch, English, Spanish and more! Be ready to be welcomed by the scent of old books, coffee and fresh flowers. The owner knows every book in the shop, so it's always handy to ask when looking for something specific or for a recommendation on what to read. Never pushy or insisting which I love! When lucky you may be served some really strong coffee and hit the cookie jar... Another plus point: baby changing facility!
