A real supermarket filled with all sorts of new and secondhand useful (and less useful) stuff for sports, camping, hiking, adventure, survival, fishing, sailing.. There's also a large collection of outdoor clothing and a separate room for electronics spare parts. Some things are just as expensive as in a regular store, but if you're lucky, you can find some real bargains.

Today Baco is classified on Google as a 'camping store'. Back in the eighties it my classification would be 'electronics dump store - five stars'. I feel Baco was much better in the past (at least for me as being a HAM radio amateur), nevertheless I still try to look around there every now-and-then. But where there were cheap bargain junk electronics in the past it now mainly is new Chinese stuff nowadays. But the place has its history and you might combine your visit with the sea breeze just a few hundred meters further west.
