IND cancelled my biometric appointment and said that everything was fine, but then 20 days later told me that my photo couldn't be used (just after I called. no letter, no call, nothing in mijn IND). 13 days later told me that my name is too long. waited 7 weeks already just to get my new residence card printed. the information centre is ALTIJD DRUK, even at 9 am sharp in the morning. they keep using corona period as their excuses, while the reality is they are just unprofessional. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING SERVICE. worst service I have ever experienced in The Netherlands.

I have never been helped better than by the IND. I called with a question and a young man (forgot his name unfortunately) helped me so clearly with all the information I needed to understand for the process I was about to start. Thank you!
Seriously, how long do I need to wait for someone to pick up the phone?? I waited 60 minutes and the phone hung up one me. I had to wait an additional 50 minutes but no one picked up the phone. Making an appointment is also a drag. I need someone to inform me about several processes which are unclear to me. But I cannot reach out to anyone.
This is an extremely unprofessional, biased, and politically driven organization. It seems that unelected and unqualified personnel are in charge of immigration policy in the Netherlands. I was admitted to a top tier mater's program at Leiden University in the Hague but the IND rejected my entry to the Netherlands. Pathetic
