I was born 20 years ago this September coming in the old hospital with a severe cleft lip and palate. I know doctors in the cleft teams in The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam weren't that brilliant, but they were still pretty reasonable with my mum!

Have been giving my blood for testing and very disappointed afterwards. Comparing to Germany I must admit the lady who has been taking the test had not cleaned her hands after other things she had done at the reception, she didn't even put one-time gloves, she didn't take any antiseptic preliminary steps and she had a very strong cigarette ambre'.. I must say it was disgusting...

Mijn kind was met 25 weken geboren. Na een goede zorg in LUMC was hij overgeplaatst naar JKZ. Hier heb ik als moeder trauma opgelopen door de onprofessionele zorg op de neonatologie en kinderafdeling. Na fouten van de zorgpersoneel kwam ik zijn kamer niet meer uit. Fouten zoals: zuurstof per ongeluk afsluiten, voeding door de spuit binnen 5 min leeg drukken, terwijl dit in 20 min gedaan moest worden, de prematuur in stress laten liggen, niet hygienisch. Ik raad het ziekenhuis niet aan voor ouders met prematuren. Op de afdeling missen ze kennis, vaardigheden en professionaliteit.
