I was appalled at the racist way I was treated in this store. When I was at the counter, I was next in line to pay. One till was open. As I waited, another store clerk came to open another till and asked, in touch, if she could help anybody. She took the only other customer waiting to the newly opened til. I asked whether I should be tended to next, considering that I was next in line (and the person in front was taking a while) and the clerk said, “you don’t speak Dutch”. Then, I looked at the clerk at my counter and said that maybe if I was very white and spoke Dutch they would have treated me better and she responded, “that’s the way we do it here.” Please do not shop this racist establishment!
