Poor service and dishonor shopkeeper. I was an international student in Groningen. I bought a bike from this shop since the shopkeeper promised my friends and I that we can re-sell our bikes with the price of a depreciation of 10 euros per month, which sounded like a good deal at that time. And the guy seemed very kind and nice at the moment. However, I felt that the shop keeper's attitude changed a lot after that day. When I came back and repair my bike the shopkeeper seemed not to care and the price he charged was not cheap. One example is that he wanted to charge me 20 euros for the bell (which was already broke at the time he sold the 2nd-hand bike to me). I told him that I would buy a bell to replace this one. (which only cost me 3 or 5 euros) Before I sold the bike back, I went to the store to make sure and get the idea about how much could I get from the bike. The attitude of the shopkeeper was rude and impatient. He said that he had to deduct the "tax", which is more than 10% as I remembered. And then he counted the 10 euros depreciation, also the locks are not refundable. After all of these, he told me that the bike was in bad condition so that he would only pay 25 euros for buying this bike back. I paid around 135 euros for the bike and after 5 months of usage I could only get 25 euros? Under 30 euros is the price of a stolen bike according to the teachers from the Uni and that's all I can get? What's more, I saw an oBike being displayed in the shop at that day. (which is weird since oBikes are bikes from a bike-sharing platform...) To conclude, I personally don't recommend this shop, especially for international students. Knowing that verbal promise can not make sure of anything but I'm still disappointed at this shop. I should have done more homework where to buy a bike. Hope everything find your perfect bike and enjoy your stay at Groningen.

Better not fix bikes here. They just tried to charge me 20 eu for nothing. Even I could see that the problem was different from what they told...

Waardeloos.
