Super friendly and helpful staff. There are two options of self-service and full service. Although we picked the self-service, we left the clothes to be washed for 40 minutes and went for shopping. The owner watched the clothes for us. 20 minutes for drying. Simply, top service and very reasonable price.

What a delightful family business! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, particularly for travellers who only speak English. I opted for the self-service option, and the staff still offered to help me. They asked what temperature I would like my clothes washed at and then assisted me to use the machines. The wash cycle takes approximately 40 minutes, after which you can come back to the store and load your washing into the dryer for a 20 minute cycle. You can even sit down and have a chat with the local staff while you wait. The prices are very affordable: it only cost me 6.50 to wash *AND* dry a whole week's load of clothes. Thank you Wasserette Ooost (\Laundry East\). I look forward to visiting you next time I go to Amsterdam.
Staff were super friendly! I chose self-service but the guy still put the powder in and then turned it on once I’d put my things in the machine. It took 40 minutes and cost only 4.50 for a load (note washing machine isn’t massive). They take card as well as cash but not sure which cards they take - I’ve found a lot of places here where my MasterCard debit card from the UK doesn’t work. I was a bit confused when I arrived as it looked like it wasn’t self service after all but you just walk past the staff busy folding etc and use a machine.
Great place to do your travel washing .Lovely friendly staff and very helpful.supermarket and atm close by .
Rude. Simply rude. Told me I have to wash my stuff in two separate machines. It almost seems like u completely misunderstood me. Just because I walked in with a suitcase, doesn't mean I wanted to wash everything that's in the suitcase. I literally put a blanket into the washing machine, a jacket and a couple of shirts and socks. Asked the owner if they know this is okay and he told me it is not and that I have to take the blanket out and pay for another, separate wash just for the blanket, so that would cost me literally 9 to wash a jacket, a tiny blanked and a couple of shirts and socks. After That I said I am planning not to do that and I said always manage to wash everything in one machine, whichever laundromat I go to. Apsolute joke. On top of everything, the owner giggled and made comments on me in Dutch language with the rest of the staff with a coffee in his hand while I was struggling to get all my stuff from the washing machine to the little suitcase again.
