Lekker. We order de vegetarian combo and the pinda soup. The combo was enough for 2 and we liked a lot. Very tasty.

In general you would think okay, but not. Each aspect could be better. I believe 2 of 8 kinds of toppings were not the freshest (or just tasted really bad), the service was unkind at first and some other things. All of that could be easily improved and I’ll be back in the future to check how they’re doing.

Can only recommend to eat at Djebena! If you had Eritrean or Ethiopian food before, it’s one of the best places I’ve been for Eritrean food. If you haven’t tried it before go and figure yourself. Make sure to try their own beer “ma suwa”! Cozy athmosphere and nice music too.

An interesting option for dinner. The food was nice and I really enjoyed the eretrian way of sharing from the same tray. A bit too spicy. There are nice/rare options of african beers. The service was a bit slow but very friendly.

Would highly recommend the banana beer and asking the bloke about Eritrea. Music and food is delicious food. Great time.

We asked before ordering if it is going to be spicy. The waiter said no it is not spicy at all. Guess what.. everything was spicy. Also too small portions..

The food was good (although overpriced for what you get - the menu online was also not updated) but the service was very bad. We were made to feel almost unwelcome and served with reluctance, that after waiting for a very long time to place an order.
