Cute and small bakery with also sandwiches for lunch and soft ice. However, the service is way too slow for a couple of sandwiches. We had to wait almost one hour for could sandwiches and call the waitresses to order both drinking and eating. The food is not that special; the bread is for sure tasty but the ingredients and combinations are nothing special. The terrace is big and offers both shadow and sun but go there only if you have time. Suggested for coffee and cakes

The earliest opening place for coffee or breakfast in Lith! The staff were friendly, though they had no English. This is my first experience in Holland with someone who does not speak English. Fortunately, food/drink ordering pidgeon is fairly universal. I had coffee (at this eatery, \koffie\ means only espresso) and an apple pastry. Plenty of filling in the party and the crust was light and flaky, crisp and perfectly sprinkled with huge sugar crystals. The view of the river is, sadly, not what one could hope for; although I doubt very much you'll find a better one this close to the commercial center of Lith.
