Clean, spacious rooms. The stuff was very polite and helpful. I book with a promotion and got a free breakfast. WiFi is not working everywhere the best. There is a lot of space to sit and study or work. The new interior is great, very modern, a good change.
Infrastructure is good and enough. Staff at reception is friendly and the location is good. But do not dare to eat in the restaurant or someone may yell at you. That was very unprofessional. Also i feel to less a holiday atmosphere. Maybe the staff has to much work
The hostel (2star) is super basic. Great for groups larger than 2 persons as it becomes a lot cheaper. Good wifi. Cheap parking. Showers are the worst i have been in...ever..you litteraly have to push a button every 30sec for the water to keep pouring. The view could be a lot better if the orientation of the rooms on the first floor were different..like towards the water..almost couldnt see the river.
I stayed in the hostel for 3 night, and I ordered the twin private room. My experience was very good. The staff are very nice and helping and the entire hostel has a very young and vibrant feeling. My room was clean and had a great view, in comparison with other of the many hostels I have been in this is a very good one. The shower and the toilets are very humble but clean and practical (the shower has a pushing buttum that flows the water for 25 sec.) the breakfast was very nice with good diversity for 6.5. Would definitely recommend it.

Unfriendly staff bothered me on top of everything! Room is freezing. No towels. You need to make the beds sheets etc yourself. And they ask you to undo it in the morning. Is this a military camp Or what?? No toiletries at all. When you ask, staff answers you like this is the most obvious thing in the world, “how come you cant know you have to make your bed sheets yourself in a hotel?!” Sort of... Bad experience for above 150 Eur. Not worth it. By the way I picked the hotel for the view. And If I did not insist to change, they were giving me a room with no view in basement floor. i would stay away from here.
