Great course! A very interactive, fun, and effective way of learning. Rafael primarily speaks Dutch during the lessons and switches to English if something is unclear. It really stimulates you to speak Dutch early on. There are also multiple sources/tools used during the lessons, including textbooks, Quizlet, videos, and discussions. The flexibility is spectacular: during the lockdown or when somebody in the group couldn't attend an in-person lesson, we switched to online lessons on Zoom or Skype that were as good-quality as in-class ones. Overall, I really recommend Waterval and Rafael to people at any level of Dutch. I've done 2 courses and would love to do more (if only I didn't have to leave the Netherlands).
