My sister and I were having a drink when we noticed who we assumed to be the owner (male, grey-ish hair) aggressively starting an argument with a passer-by. Although this takes nothing away from the quality of drinks, it was really off-putting to see such hostility and unfriendliness toward other people. Not a good look.
In the middle of the city there is this very cozy and homely pub and brewery. We went for a high beer, which meant three beers per person, for us to choose, and a plethora of snacks, dips and fingerfood. You can also buy bottles of beer to take with you. The staff was very kind and talkative. Would really recommend stopping by for one of their delicious home-brewed beers!
Good atmosphere, friendly folk, awesome artisan beers. Also a small selection of Scotch and Gin&Tonic.
Small place, with very nice owners. They have really nice beers, and are passionate about their products. They are more than willing to explain the brewing process and the characteristics of the beers. Reasonably priced for locally brewed beer.
