Monastery Studio is an apartment located on 482 Springweg, City Centre, Utrecht, 3511 VZ, the Netherlands where i stayed during my 2 weeks business trip. The apartment is on the 3rd floor accessible by an elevator and within walking distance of the shopping area, the old canal and the station. It also has a garden where guests living in the building can access and enjoy. This apartment brings the Ikea to life because almost everything here is an Ikea find. From the Kitchen cabinets to the dining table and the kitchenware are all Ikea products. The apartment is very unique with its simple yet accommodating decor and the open concept of incorporating the kitchen and the living room together with the dining is unique and sets this home apart. It also comes with a balcony where you can unwind after a long day. the downside to the balcony is that the glass door is a bit delicate and gets stuck. I only used it once because the door could not open and didn't want to damage it otherwise i would pay damage fees. The bedroom is in the attic. That was an experience for me sleeping in the attic for the very first time. The steps to the attic are very steep. The Dutch really know how to put every space to good use. The bathroom is a mixture of black, white and grey which is very loveable space and clean with a touch of green for the storage cabinet that houses the washing machine and supplies. This apartment is in a very quiet neighbourhood and does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Price: 100 per night VAT: 9% Cleaning fee per stay: 50 City tax: 6% A damage deposit of EUR 250 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. That's about 276.30USD. This will be collected by bank transfer. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by bank transfer, subject to an inspection of the property.
