Back to school! The Education Museum / Onderwijs Museum offers a display of exucation history in Holland. Next to the exhibitions you'll regularly find events and special activities for kids. A nice place to visit on a rainy day when in Dordrecht. We score it 3 stars because it could use an upgrade in interactive elements, or maybe something to make it a little bit more active for kids when there are not special events.

Trip down memory lane. You need a Dutch background to understand much. Building is very interesting architecture
Lovely museum showing snippets of Dutch educational history. The building it is currently housed in (De Holland) is gorgeous, as it was designed by Sybold van Ravesteyn (designer of the Rotterdam 'Blijdorp Zoo'). The museum could improve on some parts. The expositions feel fragmented, as it is hard to place them in the proper context. A fully decorated classroom would enhance the experience, in my opinion. Do visit the museum, as the current experience is a very good one. There are a lot of good pieces on display that show the evolution of the Dutch educational system throughout the years. Children can also participate in a playful manner. For a small fee, you can rent a backpack full of fun things to do in the museum. No spoilers here, but my kids enjoyed themselves a lot.
Good for kids or a flash back of your school days.
Nice place to visit !! They have also things to experience, touch, feel, do, etc.
