Bad experience - good people, good staff, good ambience, but bad food and service. I have went there about 10 times, and each time I requested a lamb shawarma, they said it was offered the previous day. Also, portion sizes are very less. Disappointed!

Service is poor, late and ignorant. Food is unbelievably bad, the bread is old and hard, the shawarma bread stretches like chewing gum. And the workers need some kind of uniform to be able to recognize them, instead of wearing Adidas and jeans . We paid 70 for a very very very terrible time at this restaurant . The shishas are way too expensive and terrible. Just go eat at a kiosk or something and stay away from this place
You'll like this friendly and comfortable cafe on the riverside of Waal. Here is very tasty kitchen of Near East. Very nice place
We had contrasting feelings for this restaurant. On the one hand the food is really good, and overall really cheap. On the other the service was terrible. The place is a bit dirty, they were cleaning the restaurant while we were eating.. They were very disorganized and slow in bringing the food and drinks. With a little effort, however, the restaurant could be great. Suggested if you are looking for something cheap with good food.
It's a nice place beside the river and it has delicious Syrian food
Very nice food the service might be a bit slow somw time yet the food worth it. Espicallly the" Fatayer " The most authentic syrian experince in Nijmegen.
Extremely recommended middle eastern cuisine. It reminds me of Damascus.
