I love the Spokeplas! Although it is a man made “lake” it has been thoughtfully laid out and has an altogether natural look and feel. Spacious grassy knolls surround the sand shore, and abundant trees all around the lake provide walking trails, a place to get out of the sun, birds, and a bit of nature. Plenty of easy access, close-by parking, and a small snack bar. Spokeplas is a great place for a walk, a fun time for the kids, a refreshing swim, or a quiet place to sit and reflect.
