Nice ancient restaurant. Menu card with dishes you won't find in regular restaurants. Great for trying new things out. Service is great, friendly and quick. Process not that expensive.

The cascade of surprising flavors never ended. This Surprise Menus or whatever the name is have the uniqueness of having the chef/owner picking your diner dishes and the wines. Let the wise chef take care of you and be pampered by not having to decide. The only question will b: are you allergic to any food. You better don't. CHEERS! Service was personalized and each dish was presented and explained to my brother's family with charm. For me as a visitor the experience was perfect! The food delicious and the nigh unforgettable. The restaurant is in a cousy spot behind an ancient church. You wouldn't guess that you can eat from scallops to German deer in the verge of fall in Oldenzaal.
