OpenArtExchange commits itself to the long-term development of its artists and the related support needed to achieve serious recognition and appreciation of their work in the international art world, both commercially and institutionally. In addition, it aims to offer a platform to up-and-coming talent in contemporary visual art, both from non-Western countries and the local art scene, by having them participate in cultural exchange projects and / or offering them a platform. OpenArtExhange aims to operate through its global platform OpenArtExchange.com, its participation in international art fairs and festivals, its cooperation with international partners and its activities in its own local art center located within the Rotterdam region. The local center is focused on the organisation of expositions and art events (debates, performances, etc.), contemporary art mediation, exploitation of OpenArtCafe, management of studio, exhibition and performance spaces, workshops & training services and marketing & communication, administrative and other facility services. Through its diverse activities, OpenArtExchange aims to land its artistic expressions and ideas about art, society and leadership at the opinion leaders of tomorrow within the various communities. In addition, it aims to strengthen, the various communities in which it is involved, in the Netherlands and in the countries of origin of its affiliated artists.
