One of the best war museums I have ever been to. There's a haunting display of life in occupied Holland, as well as an incredible collection of vehicles. Staff are very friendly, the cafe is great, even the wooded area surrounding the museum is beautiful.

I went here a few years ago and I am looking at going back. This is a brilliant museum with an emotional twist at the end. If anyone is near Roermond or Venray it is worth a visit

Loved how they turned the old slightly ancient museum of before into a modern experience. Great place to educate yourself further on the war, the local impact of it and see the great collection of war material from radios, to tanks to the gigantic amphibious monster that has tires taller than me!

What a beautiful museum this still is. I visited it exactly 40 years ago and this year was the second time. Much has changed, It’s huge , there is a lot material to see from WWII and some newer equipment, and the surroundings are beautiful, but remember that this place was heavily fought for in 1944. A must see and to go place.

I’ve been to this amazing museum on several occasions and it certainly is an interesting day out. There are many, many exhibits, very well presented and informative notices. Ideally situated on the site of a battle during WW2. The surrounding woodland is beautiful and one can only imagine what happened here 76 years ago. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m over next time.
