I had never heard of this place before but was told by my Dutch family that it is called the best patisserie in The Netherlands and one of the top 10 in the world...I was not disappointed! The shop itself is very stylish and the service was excellent but the real proof is in the food itself. We bought a cake for 6-8 people for 15 which was very reasonable for such a well-known patisserie. The cake was incredible. So rich in flavors and beautifully presented. It was a memorable experience and a great way to end a lovely evening.

A beautiful pattiseur shop selling delightful freshly made gateaux, cakes, pastries and chocolates. Well presented 1st class bakery. Lovely displays and produce. You can see the chefs working in the kitchen through the shop window

This patisserie was voted several times in a row, the best patisserie from the Netherlands; so i thought it would be worth driving a few hundreds kms, just to treat myself and some guests i expected in the evening. I ordered 10 different small cakes that all look lovely and professionally made like you would see in France. However, the cakes didn't taste that great...way too sweet and very homogeneous in flavour. You can't tell what the different ingredients are, because it was overpowered by the sweetness. A very very big disappointment. Even a cake you would buy in a supermarket in Belgium tastes better.
