Arguably the best fancy pie and cake shop in Maastricht. Their bread is fine, but it's their pastries and pies that make it special. The chocolate cakes and 'vlaaien' are really good, but there are one or two bakeries in Maastricht that can match. It is the cream cakes that sets them apart then, they look very fancy, there is a great variety, from light and fruity, to heavy and creamy, all the way up to champagne. Different ones every time, and I've been returning for years so definitely visit more often. Decent coffee, good breakfast and lunch. Don't forget to have a cream cake before you go though!
Great pies, staff is polite and ready to explain there flavours. The overall crowd is old but the ambiance is very nice. People chatting and sipping coffee with great pies. Fresh local product, not to sweet. I would highly recommend this place
