Phoenix 3D Metaal B.V. is a machinery company based out of Fijenhof 6, EINDHOVEN, Netherlands.|Phoenix 3D Metaal is specialised in 3D sheet metal forming for small series in Ferro and non-Ferro metals. The company was established in 1960 and is located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Over time it has developed into an innovative organisation with 45 qualified and motivated professionals working as one solid and dynamic team. In over 50 years of existence, fabricating fine metal work has contributed to various branches of the industry. By actively cooperating with TNO Applied Scientific Research, Phoenix 3D Metaal developed specific expertise in the rubber pad pressing technology and offers its partnership from the customer’s initial idea until serial production of the final product. In the early stages of development we provide our customers with smart technical and cost-efficient solutions. Our professionals advise on aspects such as reduction of material consumption (while maintaining product strength), reduction of installation depth, hygienic design and functionality improvements. Complex double curved parts and low tooling costs, because of a one-sided mould, are among the main advantages of this technology and therefore especially suitable for small series. The advanced 3D laser cutting operation in this process can be seen as an advantage in creating special design or functionality. The rubber pad forming technology is the alternative for deep drawing in smaller series. Complex moulds and demanding shapes are possible. Well-thought-out enhancements enable to apply thinner sheet metal yet keeping maintaining product strength. To realise the desired 3D forms, CAD, CAD/CAM and simulation software, laser scanning and additional metal working such as 3D laser cutting, (robot)bending and (robot)welding are used.
