I study International Law and therefore I decided to come to Ramos Spaans as I needed to improve my Spanish for my exchange in Latin America. The classes here are tailor made and due to Lucy's approachable nature you can always ask her to give you more/less work, to increase the intensity of the material or to focus on certain areas in the classes depending on your needs. I was really impressed with the way the classes were conducted and the level of attention given to each person. The classes are the perfect size to ensure that you can reach your potential not only regarding reading and writing skills but also in terms of improving your Spanish oral skills. Lucy makes every class enjoyable and makes everyone feel comfortable to actively participate in class. Furthermore, there is a diverse range of teaching methods used which make the classes interesting. What I love is when you come to Ramos Spaans you don't only learn Spanish but much more such as about history and culture, which are also very important when learning a language and are often overlooked. I'm very happy I chose to study with Lucy and would recommend her to those who want to study Spanish whether they be complete beginners, students, workers or anybody else who might be interested! From August onwards, I have been following Lucy's classes. First of all, she is a very engaged teacher who is passionate not only about the Spanish language, but also very much about the Latin-American and Spanish history and culture. Lucy's teaching methods are high-quality and diverse, she makes use of all sorts of sources in order to make the learning process as fruitful as possible. During classes, we use books with different themes, in order to cater to our needs as well as possible. Often, Lucy makes classes even more interesting by telling a relevant story of one of her personal or working experiences in Latin America. After class, during the week that follows, she sends us many interesting and helpful videos and exercises. She has a genuine interest in bringing her students to the next level, in terms of knowledge of the language, but also in terms of putting it into practice. Every Monday night, I come home with a smile, my grammar and conversation skills have improved greatly in just two months. Thanks to Lucy, I feel confident about my Spanish in every situation. ¡Muchísimas grácias!

For an internship in South America I had to reach spanish level A2 in 5 months. A friend recommended Lucy Ramos and I'm happy she did so. Learning spanish with Lucy is a lot of fun. The main advantage is her flexibility to schedule lessons and to tailor the lessons to your level and interests. Another advantage is the relativily low price per lesson. I would definitely recommend Lucy Ramos to other spanish students to be.

Ik volg nu een tijdje Spaanse les bij Lucy en het bevalt erg goed. Het tempo ligt erg hoog, maar dit zorgt er ook voor dat je in korte tijd snel vooruit gaat. Lucy is super vriendelijk en tijdens de lessen komt ook het culturele aspect van Spanje en Zuid Amerika aan bod. Ik raad Ramos Spaans zeker aan!
