To start with what we did wrong: we brought our dog unannounced, he managed to escape from our room, enter another one and mark his territory there (or was scared into leaving a small message?). For this we apologized and were charged extra for extra cleaning. Now the hotel itself. Staff at the reception (at least 4 out of the 5 we met) were generally friendly and helpful. Rooms are good enough. However, the rooms were not very clean to begin with. Spiderwebs and dust in the room, and dirt in the bathroom. What I found really bothersome was the litter on the parking just outside the entrance. There was a food take-away bag for at least 2 nights, and several balloons, I suspect used for nitrous-oxide. This gives the place an impression of being run-down and desolate. Breakfast was nice, and we slept well. What did bother me, was that we paid in advance for 4 people, and 4 breakfasts per day. We chose not to order all 4 breakfasts every day. When we asked for 4, we were told we should make sure that it was paid for, while we did not get a reduction offered for not using all pre-paid breakfasts. All in all, I'm not sure we will stay here again.

Would put 0 star if possible: having a Tesla, and recharging it there, we came with our daughter of 3 years, both parents with masks(due to Covid restrictions), requesting politely to use the toilets. We were told by both snobbish ladies at reception that toilets were only for customers. We indicated that it was for our daughter. Nope, the lady was just plainly stubborn and inhumane. Simply unacceptable! On 19th October, 11am.

On A Cloud

The room is spacious and comfortable. Lots of added little benefits such as expresso machine. The lights are odd but in a stylish way. Lots of little lights you have to switch on by hand. Nice ambiance but definitely underlit. Breakfast was very good with excellent coffee and a fresh orange press machine. The hotel is elegant but definitely aimed at business market. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel was recently refurbished and they addressed most of the complaints I trad in other reviews. I would recommend it.

Not a new hotel but cozy! A huge plus - the lake, nature, McDonald's nearby :)
