This cafe as part of a hostel has some amazing art that draws attention. Even the menu is artfully made with chalk. We had a mint and black tea. The mint leaves were fresh and honey was given with it. The black tea was served with lose leaves of good quality. You could make it as strong as you like. The glasses were decently sized. Great pitstop when exploring the city.

I loved the quality of food, coffee and service here. The staff were friendly and attentive. There's also a great vibe going here, with some beautiful decor. Prices were reasonable, especially considering location. I would go back!
One of the best hostels I've ever been in! The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, without any creaking sounds. Each one gets a big locker under the bed and it's big enough to put two backpacks. They have a very nice kitchen, where we can cook anything we'd like to. We also can have the breakfast buffet for 7.50. There is an area with comfortable couches/pillows to watch Netflix with a big TV! The best thing is, they have a DJ on Fridays and it was super good! The only downside is, the rooms can get very noisy not just from the sounds from the streets, but also from the very noisy roommates. However, the hostel provides you earplugs to deal with it
I stayed in the Coco Suite at King Kong Hostel for two nights. The room was really cool. The bed was comfortable and we had a kitchen and bathroom all to ourselves. King Kong also offers 24hour reception, which is convenient. We received a complimentary coffee in the morning while we were staying, and their coffees are really good as well. We also tried some breakfast from the menu and it was all super tasty! Sadly, the remote for the TV in the room wasn't working properly, so we couldn't use it to watch Netflix. Furthermore, it was quite hot these days and it got hot during the night as well. There is a fan in the room, but it can be quite noisy to sleep with the fan on. But overall we had a nice stay. It's also perfectly located. I would recommend staying here again! :)
Awesome hostel to stay at Rotterdam! Cool cafe place and nice neighborhood. I love the place and one of the best hostels I have ever stayed around the world. Price is reasonable compared with city hub across the street. Friendly staffs!

Nice and beautifully decorated private room with toilet. Friendly and funny staff. You can store your groceries in the hostel fridge and enjoy your own food in the "Bring Your Own" area! But the room is quite dark at night. Well maybe the room is meant for honeymoon couples... . Overall it was a pleasant stay at King Kong Hostel.
Had a wonderful time at the King Kong hostel. People were really nice and helpful.
