Great place for your kids. And of course adults would also love it. Plan it well as its a huge zoo. You can download the app which helps track what is covered and yet to be visited. My kid loved Panaromic aquarium, penguin and butterfly world. Do look out for deals during the summer holidays.

This place is huge! First though, it's 25 to enter as an adult, but it's worth it. The animals look well taken care of and they have room for the elephants to have a place for summer and winter environments. My favorite part was probably the red pandas. They are adorable! They definitely bring in a crowd. I know in the one day I visited, I only got to see 1/3 of the park. Also, the entrance to the zoo, I thought nobody was in there. I didn't see anyone loitering around. Inside, there was a fairly decent crowd. Yes, I recommend a visit to this zoo. Side note, you can view part of this zoo from the train while passing in and out of Rotterdam.

I really loved it. Nice zoo and Big zoo in Rotterdam. Many animals are so cute. Great managing way for walking during COVID19 time. Lots of spot food and toilet. They are indoor and outdoor zone. Ticket for adult 23.50, its worth for it. Will back again.

Huge place! Online ticketing, helpful english speaking employees, nice merch although a bit expensive, quite expensive food, drinks and parking, not clean, smelly toilets, animal pens not well cared and a lot of mice in animal pens. No security perdonnel, some visitors should be at least supervised if not fined for their behaiviour. Overall ok, but it could be better. Oceanium saves the day.

We were blown away by the beautiful animal enclosures, the park itself, the amount of animals... Everything was amazing!.. I am taking off one star as there were quite a few boards with info about animals missing (so no sign saying what species is actually in the enclosure). Also, we found that only 30% interesting facts were translated into English :( too bad!

Great place for a day outing. They've lots of animals from different parts of the world. For a better experience you can download their app where it shows the feeding schedule of then animals which was interesting to see. We saw them feeding the penguins which was novel. The underwater aquarium is quite nice and they've got diverse varieties of sea animals. Also they were many small restaurants and cafeterias to refresh. The zoo is huge so you need to block at least 5-6 hours to visit everything.
