Commissioned in 1933 by the Dutch General Insurance Bank designed by architect Willem Marinus Dudok. The HAV Bank building is designed in a business-like expressionist style that is quit iconic. This bank was founded in 1903 but is currently used as an apartment complex

Prachtige gebouw met in drukkende horizontale lijnen van Dudok, ontworpen vlak voor zijn beroemde stadhuis in Hilversum. Revolutionair op technologische gebied was het waterpijp systeem in de betonconstructie om het gebouw koel te houden. Het gebouw van de HAV Bank werd in 1931-1935 in opdracht van de Hollandse Algemeene Verzekeringsbank ontworpen door architect Dudok. Het gebouw van de HAV Bank is ontworpen in een zakelijk expressionistische stijl. In 1952 en 1952 zijn er uitbreidingen getekend door Dudok.
