Lovely museum worth spending entire day, plenty to see and do for children as well. They have upgraded all descriptions with English too, in the past was Dutch only, I can understand so much more with English explanations! At this corona period they have a small coffee bar inside which is very expensive, however right outside the building there are food trucks with much more options at reasonable/normal price.

Great place in corona times. Some of the exhibits are outdoors. There are playgrounds for the kids and plenty of recreation space. Definitely coming back when even if the museum is still closed.

This is the new museum, interesting, spacious and super clean. The biggest part of the exposition logically related to the Dutch military history. The areas around the museum are good for hiking. Kids won’t be bothered there.

Great museum. Rich with interesting history, movies, lessons and even games. Amazing talent went into building this. The museum has a lot of creative ways to keep open despite corona.

Very large and well done museum, considering the subject quite nuanced as well although there is a bit of a propaganda vibe going on. The museum building is large open and beautiful, there is a lot of space and an diverse arrangements of displays and interactive elements, besides this there are ot course plenty of tanks planes and other machines on display both inside and outside, the restaurant is a little expensive but we'll done and the terrace is a really pleasant space. Finally the park around the museum is spacious and nice for a walk or bike ride. The crowd in this museum is not like that of your avarage art or history museum but I think there is really something for everyone, so I definitely recommend this museum.

We enjoyed this place a lot. It is worth the drive or the long ride to it. Free parking nearby. For a cold or sunny day is perfect, when is warm, children can play outside in the multiple playgrounds. Inside the museum is big and cosy. The different areas, the amount and the arrange of the items is impressive. The interactive area is also very nice for children. Bring your own food! There is a restaurant but the food is not much and the price is not the best.

Awesome place for all age groups specifically kids. Free parking, restaurant, souvenir shop, play area for kids. If you are lucky, you might see Vintage cars (RR and Bentley Owners Club)
