I am a safety officer and had a training with this company's escape mattress (the blue one) in our Rotterdam office during the annual safety training. I can only say that it is easy to use and comfortabel. Especially if you compare this with the chairs that are regularly used for evacuation.

Ik was eerst wat skeptisch toen ik deze evacuatie middelen ging uitproberen. Ik ben gewend om met een evacuatiestoel te werken, maar dit was altijd een gedoe, zeker als iemand op de grond ligt. Daarom zochten we naar andere methodes. onze bhv opleider stelde dit voor. Met het team hebben we eerst een systeem onder het bed geprobeerd (escape pod), dat werkt handig voor mensen die niet uit bed kunnen). ook nog met het matras aan de slag gegaan. Werkte veel makkelijker dan eerst gedacht en ook goed comfort voor het slachtoffer, ook via trappen was dit handig. Al met al goede hulpmiddelen waarmee levens gered kunnen worden
