Don’t know why this place has such bad reviews! I had a genuine ratatouille moment while eating the pepperoni pie. Also great music, staff and beer selection. What else do you what?
Nice place with really friendly service. The menu is kind of short but everything was really good.
Great place to get some pizza and beers. Its a college food style cafe, serving great pizza, meatballs, garlic knots, fried chicken and crazy deserts. Great selection of beer as well. Located in a charming part of town with lots to do and visit in the neighborhood.
Perhaps misleadingly, the pizzas are thin crust ;-) My wife and I are in love with this place! The chef is a mad genius; their menu of pizzas contains many unusual-but-awesome recipes. For example the "Bee Sting" pie; it has spicy sausage, hot peppers, and just a taste of honey. ...this combination sounds bizarre, but it's one of those times when the end result is so much better than the sum of it's parts! Also they have a great selection of local and regional beer, and a nice outdoor patio by the canal bridge where dogs are welcome.
Ordered 4 x pizzas, and took ages. Kitchen staff could be seen messing about, rather than working. Asked waitress where our order was, and on checking the kitchen had burnt our food, and were cooking it for a second time. When the second pizzas arrived, they were very hard ( burnt), and two had raw, whole cherry tomatoes on them, and appeared to have been hurriedly served. We complained, and were offered replacement meals, which we declined. We ate a small amount of the food and asked for the bill. We were only charged for the drinks, and the waiting staff were fine with us ..... The kitchen staff need to “up their game”, and be adequately supervised. I should add that we were the only customers inside the restaurant at the time. No wonder !!
Popped in for a quick pizza. Got the bee sting. It's a spicy boy but wouldn't blow your head off. It was a really different type of pizza to any one I had before. The topping was more of a blended sauce with peppers. It was really good though and choosing one was difficult because they al looked so good. There's loads of outdoor seating too and the staff were really helpful.
I ordered at this place via foodora and got an amazing fat pizza with plenty of toppings and an intense taste! Beats all the fast food pizza any day! However be aware this is surely not the Italian approach to pizza. ;)
