Terrible place for windsurfing, as it lies in a lowered area. Also a lot of tall buildings and big bushes surround the small lake witch makes it very difficult for the wind to blow consistently across the water. Besides the horrible wind conditions it's also quite hard to get into the lake with your gear as there are no good beach entries, rigging has to be done on the concrete (side walk) or on the dog poo infested gras strip. There is a nice small beach with an awesome rigging field, that has a huge spiked fence around it, to use that you have to be a member of the local surfclub.

Lots of water to be seen
De Duikplas Goirle mag je niet te vergelijken met het nabijgelegen De Baars (Put van Heel, Oostplas). Toch heeft deze stek best wat leuke verassingen, zoals spectaculaire canyons en uitzonderlijk grote zoetwatermosselen. Verder is er een touwenparcours met diverse objecten en voldoende leven. Kortom, wie een keertje durft uit te wijken van de Baars naar de Surfput Goirle, wordt meestal verrast. Grillige canyons, ruige oevers, allerlei objecten en scholen vis trekken aan je voorbij. De Duikplas Goirle is een eenvoudige duikstek met goede instapplaatsen.
