University Racing Eindhoven is located in Eindhoven, Netherlands on Horsten 8. University Racing Eindhoven is rated 5 out of 5 in the category university in Netherlands. University Racing Eindhoven, URE for short, is the largest student project of the Eindhoven University of Technology. The URE team consists of 70 talented students, mostly coming from the faculties Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering. Besides that, the team is complemented by interns from universities of applied sciences and several exchange students. The goal of the multidisciplinary team is to design, build, test and race an electric racecar in just one year. During summer the team competes in the international Formula Student competition, the biggest and most prestigious engineering competition worldwide. During these events the car and team are tested on design, quality and knowledge about the car. The students learn to work in a large team and to bring theory from their studies into practice. They are brought together by a passion for technology, which results in a faster, more efficient and more reliable racecar every year.
